First we'll assign a password to your windows accounts. If you account already has a password skip over to 'Enable Remote Desktop'.

1. Open up Control Panel:

2. Click on the User Accounts link:

3. Click on Change your Windows Password. Then click on Create a Password. Follow the instructions to add a password for your account.

We're done adding a password to your account. Lets Enable Remote Desktop now.

5. Open up Computer:

6. Click on System Properties:

7. On the System Properties page click on the Remote Settings link.

8. Make sure Allow connection from computer running any version of Remote Desktop is selected. Then click Apply:

Now we'll configure Windows Firewall to allow incomming Remote Destkop conenctions

9. Open up Control Panel:

10. Click on Networking and Internet:

11. Click on Windows Firewall. Then click on Allow a program through Windows Firewall.

11. Scroll down the list of programs. Make sure the Remote Desktop check box is checked:

Click Ok.
